Amy & Jesse Wedding
Summer Wedding At McKay Reserve Palm Beach NSW Australia
One of the happiest moments in life is to share the special occasion and that specific joyous moment with friends and family. This is what Amy and Jesse did on 7th January 2017 when they had their wedding ceremony and exchanged wedding vows at McKay Reserve Palm Beach.
The day was a glorious warm summer day blessed with glorious sunshine and fine weather. A few days before, everyone in Amy’s family was tentative as to the weather; it had been overcast and drizzling with rain. However the weather god came and blessed Amy and Jesse wedding with clearing clouds and sunshine.
The whole ceremony was very enjoyable combining both the tradition of exchanging wedding vows with a rather informal atmosphere. Amy and Jesse opted for a relaxed and they wanted their families and friends to enjoy the ceremony. I certainly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and I am sure that everyone did too. The wedding ceremony was performed in a lighthearted and refreshing manner. I have to say that it was one of the most interesting and enjoyable ceremonies that I have been although it was not the usual traditional ceremony. Amy is to be applauded for finding a young and witty celebrant for the ceremony.
The reception of the wedding was at the Boat House Palm Beach, a beautiful location on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. The reception started about 6:00 pm and went on until 11:00 pm with the guests and families treated to sumptuous finger food, cakes and drinks. As it was not a black tie event, most guests were encouraged to let their hair down and enjoy the evening which they certainly did. And what a party, both the young and old had such a fantastic time dancing the night away.
I wish Amy and Jesse the best in their new journey together as husband and wife.
