Creative Lighting With Daniel Linnet At DigiDrect Westfield Chatswood
Who would miss a shoot with the Canon Master Daniel Linnet, I definitely would not. Upon receiving an email from DigiDirect advising the formal opening of their Chatswood store and the shooting opportunity with Daniel Linnet, I did not need any further invitation. Knowing Daniel, I knew it would be enjoyable, interesting and challenging.
My expectations were completely fulfilled with the shoot based on the theme from the film-noir set and with lighting superbly arranged by Daniel and his assistant. What a beautiful and inviting lighting setup with the use of three flash heads, softbox and lighting modifiers. I expected the venue to be crowded but fortunately for me, unfortunate for those who did not turn up, it was not as crowded as I expected. This turned out to be very good for me having ample time to take photos and to have a good chat with Daniel. Daniel was ever so kind to lend me his trigger to enable me to shoot with his lighting setup. It would have been quite plain and ordinary if Daniel had not lent his lighting trigger.
