Day Out With The Canon 35mm f/2 IS USM
Recently I acquired the Canon 35mm f/2 IS USM prime lens. Today, I thought I will give the lens a test run and restricted myself to just using that lens for the day. I went to Darling Harbour in downtown Sydney, a place usually packed with activities and visitors particularly during the weekend. I used the lens on a Canon 5DsR.
The lens performed quite well in terms of sharpness although I still wonder if the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art Series would be better. I tested the lens on some straight cityscape shots, some multi exposures and lucky for me the fireworks put on by the Darling Harbour Authority.
